Profile

Dr Hassan graduated from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and has subsequently completed two Master’s degrees: one in Oral Implantology (distinction) and another in Aesthetic Medicine (distinction). In 2018, he completed his PhD at the University of Gothenburg. Dr Hassan is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Module Lead in Aesthetic Medicine at the Blizard Institute (Queen Mary University of London) and a Senior Lecturer/Examiner/PhD supervisor at King Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain).

He is also a visiting clinical researcher at the Department of Natural Sciences (Middlesex University London). He has received a Diploma in Oral Implantology and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In 2019, Dr Hassan was awarded the British Council of Aesthetic Medicine Quality Research Award for his clinical paper on “Injectable platelet rich fibrin (i-PRF) in Aesthetic Medicine”. His research interests include regenerative treatments/materials, platelet-rich derivates (PRF/allogenic growth factors), and oral implants.

Teaching

Dr Hassan is a substantive clinical senior lecturer/module lead in aesthetic medicine, Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London and a clinical senior lecturer/examiner/PhD supervisor at the European Oral Implantology MSc Program at University King Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain). He is a visiting clinical researcher at the Department of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Middlesex University (London).

Dr Hassan's research interests include regenerative treatments/materials, platelet-rich derivates (PRF/allogenic growth factors), and oral implants.
