Biography:

Dr Ni Peng is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Queen Mary, University of London. She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance, together with an MBA from the University of Manchester (Manchester Business School). Her research interests are in corporate finance (mergers and acquisitions), innovation, environmental/social/governance (ESG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable and responsible finance, and corporate governance (executive compensation). Her research has been published in several journals including Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, and International Review of Financial Analysis. Ni has over five years of industry experience at one of the largest Chinese financial conglomerates before starting academic career.
